Dr. Manuel C. Fortes is a highly skilled interventional neuroradiologist with extensive training and expertise in neurovascular surgery, diagnostic radiology, and endovascular procedures. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dr. Fortes holds dual board certifications in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroendovascular Surgery. He completed his medical training in Brazil before advancing his education with fellowships at the University of Maryland and the Medical University of South Carolina.

His clinical interests focus on advanced endovascular treatments for acute ischemic stroke, intracranial aneurysms, and complex vascular malformations.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Fortes is active in research and education, having presented at numerous national and international medical conferences. He has published several articles in leading medical journals and has contributed to advancements in the field of neuro-interventional radiology.

Dr. Fortes is fluent in both English and Portuguese and holds medical licenses in multiple states, including Virginia, Texas, and Florida.
