Michael Gelsomino, M.D.

Dr. Michael Gelsomino is a board-certified neurosurgeon with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. Dr. Gelsomino specializes in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, with a focus on brain tumors, spinal conditions, and minimally invasive surgery techniques.

Dr. Gelsomino completed his neurosurgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he received comprehensive training in all aspects of neurosurgery. Prior to that, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from Florida State University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

He has a diverse background in clinical practice, having previously worked at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA, and the Neuspine Institute in the Tampa Metro area, where he provided high-level care for complex neurosurgical cases.
