Neurosurgeon Spotlight: Ankur Garg, M.D.Dr. Garg is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology and fellowship-trained in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology. He attended medical school at the University of Bombay in India followed by post-graduate training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Before joining Orlando Neurosurgery, Dr. Garg served as the medical director of neurointerevntion and director of the neurointerventional fellowship program at the Oklahoma University Medical System.

Dr. Garg Performs A Broad Spectrum of neurointerventional procedures including emergent mechanical thrombectomy for stroke, endovascular treatment of brain aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, as well as intracranial and extracranial stenting procedures.

Dr. Garg is an active member of the various medical societies including the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology, and the American Heart Association.
